Kesher Committees 2008-2009
The Kesher Committees are made up of parents who want to contribute to the success of our school by taking an active role in creating a strong community of volunteers.
We have four Kesher Committees this year. The Kesher Tikkun Olam Committee will present opportunities to inspire and educate both students and parents to fulfill the mitzvah of tikkun olam or "repairing the world". The Kesher Social Committee will organize events for families to come together on an informal basis, just for fun! The Kesher Staff Appreciation Committee will plan and host the mid-year and end-of-year Staff Appreciation Luncheons, as well as numerous other "treats" for staff members to enjoy throughout the year. The Kesher Gala Committee will present another amazing Pardes Gala. The Gala has shown itself to be a highly successful fundraising event for our school as well as a wonderful evening to remember for Pardes families and staff.
This year we are asking for volunteers to sign up for particular events rather than for the committees themselves. Please look for sign-up sheets in the front office and join us for our Kesher Coffee Talks in the sanctuary at 8:30am on the following dates:
